Earth Day Tokyo footage from Saturday, April 23 near Yoyogi Park. Check out Bee Japan at www.beejapan.org. They are doing a bike ride from the top to the bottom of Japan to raise awareness of environmental issues.
They are also raising money for Henoko to protect the dugong (like manatees) and coral reefs in Okinawa.

but since you live in Japan were you a part of the bike ride? It would be neat to do in Canada that's for sure...one day.

No I am too lazy to bike that far.
But my friend is helping to organize it and some of the group will come stay at my apartment when they are in Yokohama.
At this stage the riders are mainly people teaching English in Japan and some people from Peaceboat http://www.peaceboat.org/.
Travelling in Canada would be amazing. I always hear that Canada is like New Zealand landscape-wise but much bigger of course. My cousin is in Vancouver for a year and she likes it.
